A 19-year-old who has revolutionized the face of tattooing, is the world’s youngest international tattoo model and the first Indian to complete a PhD in tattooing.
Sarthak, a native of Bhopal, is the only child of a cardiologist father and a principal mother, and comes from a highly structured and educated family. He has been a creative child since childhood, and began tattooing at a very young age, and his enthusiasm grew as he received positive feedback.
He is a Marvel lover and has numerous tattoos on his body depicting superheroes. He earned numerous awards as a result of his participation in numerous international tattoo festivals and contests.
The creativity and feelings that tattoos bring when they are imprinted on the skin were the main reasons for him choosing tattoos as a career path, as well as the fact that tattoo thinking in our nation is still very archaic. He wanted to shift people’s perceptions about tattoos and show the world that they can be a source of pride. After that, he not only used tattoos as a means of self-expression, but also as a source of income. After completing a postgraduate degree in film production, he opted to further his education and conduct extensive research to become a high-flying tattoo artist, eventually earning a PhD in the field. Dr Sarthak, as he is now known to many, turned his pastime into a job.
